Travel Guide: Turner Falls

Follow me to Turner Falls! It's funny when you think of traveling you think of hopping on a plane to explore a different state or country. But for me, it means exploring somewhere new, whether that be somewhere hundreds of miles away or somewhere within driving distance. My budget doesn't normally allow for big trips, so I'm always searching for trips that I could make in a day. Thankfully, Turner Falls made for the perfect day trip!

We originally planned this trip with one thing in mind... to take a picture with a waterfall. But soon after getting there, my mindset changed. Don't get me wrong, I still wanted a picture with the waterfall, but first I really wanted to take the time to explore this park. The water from the falls felt amazing and I loved how clear it was. I could actually see through to my feet which gave me comfort in knowing if anything swam towards me then I could see it coming. We also took a short hike to a cave just above the falls. It's incredibly beautiful for its geographical location. I can't wait to go back and really take the time to explore the whole state park.
