“Slow breathing is like an anchor in the midst of an emotional storm: the anchor won’t make the storm go away, but it will hold you steady until it passes.” – Russ Harris
It’s true we all have lives and emotions and honestly most of the time we only see a fraction of what’s really going on in someone’s life.
Today’s post I want to encourage everyone to take a moment to reach out to your loved ones and friends and express your gratitude and love for them.
Yesterday I lost a family member and I'm sharing this with you so it can be a reminder to all of us that tomorrow is never guaranteed. When's the last time you called or texted a loved one just to tell them you love them, or even just ask how they're doing? Stop what you're doing this very second, pick up the phone and call or text the people you love. Let them know you are here for them and express how much they mean to you.
Unfortunately, we can’t see the future so we don’t know when we will get the chance to do it again. We all have things going on but it’s with others encouragement and support that makes life possible. Let’s all strive to be the anchor in someone else’s life. We can’t always solve their problems, but we can help hold them steady while they face their emotional storm.
I love you all and wish you all a blessed weekend.
Much Love, Reba
