The truth is you are beautiful, strong, intelligent, unique, creative, deserving, and powerful. Too often, I caught myself focusing my energy and self- talk on my what I believe to be my "flaws." I picked up a bad habit of telling myself: your lips are too thin, you need new eyebrows, your cellulite is bad, you're too short... and the list could go on. But then I challenged myself to change my perspective of self-talk. Today I challenging you to the same task. What we tell ourselves matters and really does make a difference.
Each morning wake up look in the mirror and list your quality's you like (I like my eyes, I care deeply...etc). I encourage you to create a positive self-talk list such as the one listed below to remind yourself your worth.
1. I am enough
2. I am learning what I need to do in order to take care of my body.
3. I have a lot to be proud of.
4. I don't give up.
5. I'm moving towards my goals.
6. I am in control of my choices.
7. I am healthy.
8. I have so much to offer.
9. I have an inner strength.
10. I'm not facing the world alone.
